Cave's ESPGALUDA II - a glorious horizontally-scrolling bullet-hell 2d shooter - has been in the news a lot lately. Firstly for its inability to run on anything but 3rd-gen devices, but secondly for its apparent issues when trying to install it to iPod Touchs.

Well it seems Cave has been quick to rectify this as it today released a new patch. Chief among the fixes is a bug that prevented the game from being installed full stop. As well as issues where sounds would not play when receiving a call, where save data wasn't saved under certain conditions and where certain achievements would not unlock.

Finally, for those of you baulking at the £5.99 price-point, there's also a new LITE version of the game that features the whole of the first stage, one character and one difficulty level.
