Chillingo are riding high on the success of a game that you just cannot get away from on the iTunes store. Angry Birds has been topping the number one game spot on iTunes for so long that you'd almost think the image of that red angry birdie was burned into your iDevice's screen.

EA now owns the company and reportedly got a heck of a bargain with its acquisition. Named as "one of the top ten games industry players that can write their own cheques", Chillingo was picked up for a cool $20 million by EA.

Considering the reports that the company would be sold for no less than $200 million, and the continued success of their releases (Cut the Rope, also published by Chillingo, sold more than 1 million copies in less than three days), EA dun gud, we reckon.
