Kinect is only a week away. Seems amazing to think that such a massive technological leap in the way we control our games is this close to happening.

What's rather cute is the way the technology relies on some rather strange ways of accurately sizing up your surroundings if you're having calibration problems. The attached pic shows off "Cardy" - a bizarre little face on a card that is bundled with all Kinect games. This cheery little fella works as a method of helping Kinect's RGB cameras to figure out how close or far away from the cameras everything in your room is.

If your dance moves aren't quite as amazing as you think they should be on Dance Central - or if you feel that Kinect Adventures isn't pushing all your non-existent buttons, then reach for "Cardy" - your all new flexible friend
