Bizarre Creations might've bit the dust but several ex-staffers have got together and formed a new studio.

Lucid Games, based in the North West of England, have been brought together by ex-Bizarre Senior Manager Pete Wallace with the aim of creating at least 50 posts at the studio.

Wallace aims to bring the studio back up to speed, hoping to rejuvenate the team enough to reach the dizzy heights Bizarre were at just before the Activision buyout.

Lips are firmly sealed about the studio's planned future projects but we'll be keeping a close eye on Lucid's output, rest assured.

If they can come up with the neat trick of creating a world-beating new racing IP, and simultaneously thumb their noses at Activision I'll be right behind 'em!

They should employ me; I can create 50 posts in about 1 min and 26 seconds.

There is beauty to be found in this beast, and you don’t have to look hard to find it.
