 - Motorstorm Apocalypse, Sony, Japan, Tsunami, Flood

The earthquake and resulting tsunamis that have hit North-East Japan today are truly terrible disasters that serve only to make us realise just how vulnerable we are to the devastating force that is mother nature. The increasing death toll means we should all take a long hard look at ourselves and get some perspective on life.

All of which means that the imminent release of Sony's Motorstorm Apocalypse couldn't have come at a worse possible time. Particularly when the game features numerous devastating natural disasters and looks uncannily like a lot of the news footage that's been shown the world over today.

Would it be seen as crass, unsympathetic and in bad taste to release a game now that cashes in on its portrayal of such devastating events? Should Sony delay its release? But then is there ever such a thing as good time to release a game of this nature given the current climate?

Our thoughts go out to all the friends and families of those affected by the terrible events of today.

In the mean time, check out the trailer for yourself below and make your own mind up.
