Chillingo continues its assault on the app store this Spring with a whole host of new releases coming to your favourite apple touchy platform within the next few weeks.

First up is Spider Jack, a kid friendly game from developers MaxNick that takes its cues from similar spidery title "Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor". Like the aforementioned game, the aim is to capture all of the flies in a variety of interesting environments. Here's a YouTube link for a quick look.

Next up is Dream Track Nation from PowPowGames. The order of the day here is side-scrolling 2D racing action with the emphasis on a community-based track designer, allowing players to build tracks packed with huge jumps, obstacles and powerups. Here's some gameplay footage.

Then there's Spoing, a precision platformer with more than a nod to iOS titles like Doodle Jump. Explore 50 caverns and nab all the diamonds for top honours. Click here for some gameplay footage.

iOS Mainstays Two Tribes are rolling out an apple-flavoured version of their 2D strategy game Swords and Soldiers. Intense combat, crazy powerups and of course plenty of flame-grilled steaky action is promised but for a closer look at the game, go and check out the gameplay footage.

What's that? You want more? Well how about D.A.R.K, a sci-fi survival horror / twin stick shooter that has visuals to die for. Coming soon from developers GameLab, D.A.R.K might look a little bit like a cheeky Dead Space knock-off but it certainly looks like it'll provide thrills and chills in equal measure. Footage here.

Last but by no means least, how about a little fanged action combining tower defence, vampires and bucketloads of gore. Vampire Rush from developers A-Steroids mixes genres to provide something a little different from the normal TD format. Upgradeable weapons, tons of bonus items and bats. Couldn't be better but if you remain unconvinced, go and have a squizz at the footage.

After that little lot I need a cup of darjeeling and a nice juicy bourbon biscuit.
