Things break!

As a 360 owner, you'll be only too aware of this. If the white box of joy isn't giving you three red sectors on its all-seeing eye, it's giving you the obtuse video-related "Error 74" stuff instead. Up till now, if you've fallen into the latter camp when your Xbox 360 has expired, gone to silicon heaven, turned up its boots and died - you've been out of luck unless you've been tempted to wrap the thing in a towel and risk setting fire to your house by giving it the full 3 sector death treatment.

Now it seems MS has extended the original 3 year warranty to also cover error 74s. A move that's bound to be popular with those of you not yet versed in sending your 360 off on its holidays to Germany for a couple of weeks or more.
