Neoseeker sought out a gem from the world of gamer addicts - a Diablo fan who goes by the name of AniMe. Speaking on Diablo III fansite DIII.net, AniMe spilled his heart's desires out onto the web: specifically, his desire to quit work and quit life in order to completely immerse himself in the wonder of his soon-to-be favourite game.

Come the day Diablo 3 hits retail, he's ready to enter unemployment, switch off his cell, say goodbye to the ladies, and settle in to playing the game for six months straight - the way it deserves to be played.

None For Multiformat"Playing computer games full time does not fit very well with peoples idea of 'be all you can be'," says AniMe. "Now I wonder; as a person with no current gaming addiction at all, clean for years (the needle marks have healed nicely too!) how common is it to have the goal of isolating oneself with a computer game? With clouded vision in state of withdrawal I can surely understand it, but from a mind crystal clear?

"But if I was to answer with two words; 'sheer fun', would you buy it? Is it really that simple? Should we distance ourselves from those things in life we truly enjoy the most for they are too dangerous? I know I wouldn't be honest with myself if I did."

Head over to Neoseeker for AniMe's full mission statement. We salute AniMe for standing up and being honest with himself about his upcoming addiction. The first step is admitting it.
