Organisations Condemn Online Hooligan Simulator Aimed At Kids

The FA has condemned an Internet game aimed at kids, which casts them as violent football-loving hooligans. Young lads can create their own hooligan characters, who then fight with "guns, swords and baseball bats," The Telegraph reports.

Boys as young as seven are playing 'Little Hooliganz'. They train their hooligan to battle other hooligans and even innocent old aged pensioners.

When players aren't stealing virtual cash to buy virtual beer, they are bashing virtual people about with virtual "scimitars, chainsaws, cricket bats, crow bars and knuckledusters".

Over 10,500 youngsters flocked to the hooliganism simulator within days of its launch.

An FA spokesman said: "We deplore anything that celebrates hooliganism in any form."

Malcolm Clarke, chairman of the Football Supporters' Federation, said: "We are totally opposed to anything which glamorises any form of violent behaviour associated with football."

Danny Bryan, chairman of Communities against Guns and Knives said: "This game is crazy, encouraging children to carry guns and swords. Too many parents have lost their loved ones through guns and knives and games like this are a negative influence on children."

The makers of the game defended it by claiming it merely satirises football violence.

You may recognise the makers, Blouzar, for their other controversial game, Miss Bimbo, which hit the news for encouraging young girls to raise a model, who they could feed diet pills and give cosmetic surgery.

Hit the link for details on the anti-social missions the game tasks players with, including the one where the player decides to become a mugger and mugs the old lady who lives across the street.
