Picture the average Robbie Williams fan

Moist undergarments, slightly pained screaming expression on their face, mouthing the lyrics to "Angels" under their breath and wondering when Stoke's favourite son might wise up and rejoin Take That.

You don't usually imagine them haring through the desert on the back of a dirt bike, tearing up the sand with a vrrm vrrm vrrm - but thankfully Mr Williams' record company have come up with a novel way of promoting his latest album "Reality killed the video star" - they've produced a racing game.

"Robbie Williams Racing" (checks calendar, no it's not April the first) puts players firmly in the saddle of an off road motorbike, then plonks them in the desert, just like in the video to Robbie's latest smash "Bodies".

The game costs 1.79 and is currently available on the UK Apps store. No one here has been brave enough to stump up the cash to give it the once over, but it's bound to be excellent.

Third time's a charm! We really need an "edit image" bit for the iPhone CMS!
