Seeing as tomorrow is **Official** Hot Cross Bun day, do you have any recommendations for good / bad bun combinations?

Waitrose are doing bramley apple flavour and cinnamon & raisin flavours as well as normal and wholewheat. I reckon the variations taste a bit weird and you're better off going normal and adding your own cinnamon powder or apple sauce after a bit of toasting.

A little bit of finely grated cheese. Never thought it would work, but it does.

Waitrose (fnaawww) Bramley Apple ones are nice. Not too doughy or spicy.

So what's the word then? Toasted with a bit of butter, or cold spread with Flora (thats if flora doesn't mind)

Cold for me.
