Joystiq reckons there should be a hockey game where your stylus acts as the stick. Or a pansy RPG where you use the mic to do the latin-style incantations.

Bit like an "ideas for Wii" thread, but, erm... with the DS.

I haven't bought one yet. It doesn't appeal.

They haven't made something outside of the 'manga licence fighting game' genre that I've played for more than 10 minutes.

Ported the Broken Swords/Grim Fandango/Discworld point and clickers.

I thought things were a bit quiet for the DS at the end of last year, but it has a superb line-up of games coming out this year. Top of my list is Settlers, but Sim City et al have got me really excited. I wouldn't have believed, two years ago, that I could ever return to handheld gaming and have this much fun with it.

Hear hear...I want these, definitely.

Thinkin' about it, I wouldn't say no to a decent "Magnetic Scrolls" style adventure either. I'm sure text entry could be done a la the little messenger thing at the bottom of the screen.

Can't believe I didn't suggest ports of the Monkey Island games! Seriously, is this the most obvious idea ever?

Monkey Island is among the reasons I want to get one of those flashcart thingys.

I don't think there have been any point and click games on the DS yet (in the most traditional sense, I mean. Obviously games like Another Code fit in there somewhere.)

There hasn't been too many games with gesture based input yet has there?

Black and White on the DS would be ace.

I wouldn't mind something along the lines of the PC "Commandos" games - those were awesome.

Also, wouldn't say no to something Vib/Mojib ribbon like but obviously that's never going to happen.
