Watched the whole Maiden set via the live stream.

I'm an old fogey, probably enjoyed it more than I would in a muddy field.

I realised I was too old for festivals when I was getting annoyed at being kept awake by other campers, rather than doing the keeping awake bit myself. There were quite a few bands I would love to have seen though. Did they broadcast any on Kerrang TV this time ?

i'm kinda getting too old for this shit myself, i had to pull out of the pit at both crue and maiden after a few songs, but i moshed hard and had quite a few good pits.

the festivally side is really picking up as well though. back at the first download in 2003 there was practically no life at all in the campsite, but we spent probably more time at our tent with a stereo on being sociable with various passers by and supping the beers than we did in the arena.
