OK so I don't have it yet but it's on the way. Brand new giga pack (minus memory card) for 96. Ordered LocoRoco for 12.99 and Wipeout Pure for 9.99 both from play. Then in Game tonight I got a couple of used games, Lumines for 12.99 and Ridge Racer 2 for 9.99.

Can't wait!

Killzone Liberation is a bargain for 12.99 (used admittedly) in Blockbusters.

I like the sound of it but according to reviews it's bastard hard and very frustrating. This is not my idea of fun!

I've not got that far into it, and I've not found it that hard to be honest. Its certainly not up there with Ninja Gaiden.
Theres a demo here.

Hard yes, not that frustrating. It's surprisingly strategic, once you learn the maps and know where everything is. Definitely worth picking up, and for just over a tenner, you can't go too far wrong.

Killzone is ace. Admittedly I'm playing on easy, but I've got to the fourth chapter without too much fuss. Online is great too, apparently, but I haven't tried it yet. 12.99 new from gameplay, last time I looked.

I've ordered a 2gb card and have a brilliant video convertor for my Mac for both DVDs and stuff from my EyeTV. Killzone is 9.99 in a few places at the moment.

Killzone is also a pretty nice and simple thrash around online. I ought to play it more, but I've been on a PS1 game frenzy on the PSP lately, Kula World, Kurushi, Overboard and Rollcage.

Now you have Lumines you can get to downgrading pretty much straight away.

I thought you didn't need to downgrade anymore. Although I'm not talking from experience here...

I was going to ask why you didn't wait for the new PSP, but then I see you've got a pretty nice price anyway. I love my PSP, even though the only things I play on it are Virtua Tennis and Lumines.

Lumines is great although it takes a bit too long for it to get to a challenging difficulty.

Tennis hurts my thumb :o(

The challenge is always there - you're always fighting to keep clearing the screen/keeping it to one color to boost your score as quickly as possible, imo.

I use the nub for tennis, do you use the D-Pad?

The more I thought about it the less compelling the new PSP seemed, plus I got a good deal and I want it for my holiday at the start of August.

Haven't tried the new 3.5+Lumines downgrader yet, but the old 3.03+GTA one was dead simple. Nice and quick and painless. Well worth it for ripping your games on to a stick, and for the PSOne emulator.

As annoying as the controller is, I must day that I've been tempted now that they're under 90

No doubt I'll try it eventually.

I brought a white PSP over the weekend o/

I Used the Lumines downgrader, and am enjoying PSone games like Gran Turismo 2 and Everybody's Golf 2. Plus Sensible Soccer on the Mega Drive emulator.

Does the giga pack come with a USB cable? I ended up buying a pack of stuff from Gamestation for a fiver... all of it in pink. At least the USB cable stands out from the hundred others, though.

I had a truck load of USB-> mini USB cables anyway. Much more useful was the 3rd party usb charger cable.

That's one of the great things about the PSP - all the good games (and yes, there are lots) are dirt cheap because most people are too stupid to buy them ;-)

Exit is going up on exblah soon, right? Or was it PSN (just in case it's published by Sony and the suggestion of it being on the 360 is laughable)?
