...or: it's good to return home from a 2-week vacation in Greece. The island of Lesbos is simply breathtaking. Not many tourists and most of them are friendly Greeks anyway. Great though cool sea, beautiful views and sunsets, excellent food/wine/lager - simply our best vacation so far (also, achievement unlocked - proving that a Skoda Fabia 1.2l is an able off-road vehicle :-). Equally good as the vacation was to find out that the Bioshock CE from Gameplay arrived on the 24th (absolute world record, sent out on the 22nd)! What's even better, the game looks absolutely brilliant on the new 8800 GTS. So, what did I miss? Anything interesting happened in the past 2 weeks? /fully expects "AWTFAY?" and maybe an "you was gone?" |

I always thought the Isle of Lesbos was made up for the lesbien jokes. I had no idea it was actually a real place. Welcome back :) |

I'd always hoped secretly that the Island of Lesbos was just populated with huge amazonian beauties all licking and nibbling at each other. Welcome back pauleyc. What have you missed... Er...lots of bioshock love, SKATE rogering Tony Hawks up the arse and Ecosse going on GI on EG :) Peej |

Retroid said:/Never wastes an opportunity Heh, works for me. :-) Seriously, Lesbos is beautiful. I'll post photos once we review the 5GB of pics. Not many lesbians unfortunately and those suspected of the notion certainly wouldn't appreciate me photographing them (think more Hell's Angels than Penthouse). Bioshock love I can understand although from my 20 minutes of gameplay so far (the rest of the time I was just looking at the various 3DMarks with their fancy graphics spinning and jumping on the new card - yes, I'm that sad) I think it's not exactly as complex as SS2, definitely more a shooter with amazing graphics than an FPS/RPG hybrid. But the Big Daddy figurine is bloody marvelous. Ecosse on GI? My heart bleeds. |
