How exactly does your gamer rep on XBL go up and down? I know that leaving feedback can alter it, but is this the *only* way it can go up or down?

If the other players don't do anything after a match/race yours automatically goes up. Only if someone actually complains does it go down.

If you look on the menu it tells you but I think that's what it says.

They need to take a leaf out of AATG's book and call it shunning.

I've been playing a while now and i still have one last bit of star missing.

It goads me with it's emptiness.

Even I've got 4 stars - I guess the passive 'don't say anything' thing must work then.

/wishes it did the same here

Does anyone ever leave positive feedback?
I make a not of going through all the people who I've played with and leave them feedback.

Even left feedback for one chap who couldn't play. He sent a message saying "sorry about that, got connection problems at this end"

At least he was polite enough to say so. And it was in teh lobby, so the game hadn't even started, so it wasn't an excuse. Unless I'm THAT fearful to play Streets of Rage 2 against.

I've 'preferred' all the people on my friends list. Haven't played many other people...

I'm always willing to leave positive feedback if particularly deserved. Otherwise I'm happy to let the 'left no feedback' part of it kick in.

I've done some prefering with several games... you get a few good games in with a group, then I consider it worth it. Plus, there's a better chance of being rematched with someone you've prefered.

Do far more shunning and complaining about folk, though. Just so I don't bump in to them again. But that's the nature of Live.
