Random thread alert!

So I've moved into a new house recently and we have a huge lawn. But everywhere the dog pees on it the grass dies. Someone told me that if I get my dog spayed, this won't happen anymore. Is that true?

How random a thread is this?

It's usually the case for cats, so I suspect it's probably the same for dogs. How old is the dog?

Hm, she might be a bit old. You're best asking your vet whether it make any difference.

We've got a spayed dog and she's never killed the grass with her wee, but I don't know how whether it's anything to do with it.
