SSF has just made it to 009 and it's rather amasing now. On my PC everything does seem full speed.

Grab it here.

Tempest 2000, Daytona, Radiant Silvergun, Nights all tested and working great.

Especially pleased to be playing Tempest 2000 again.

It also works 100% with my XBox 360 pad.

Any more recommendations?

I pray... *PRAY*... that now that this is on emu that some kind hearted soul starts translating some Jap only games into English...

Saturn version of Tempest 2000 is the next best thing to the original Jag version.

/Ponders how his lappy (2.5ghz P4) would cope with SSF

Well it's registering 40% on each core for a C2D at 2,66GHz during silvergun.

Let me know if you need a bios... and you can find all sorts at http://www.pleasuredome.org.uk/index.php

The USA and Jap ones won't even touch your ratio :d

Give it a go, I reckon some'll be fine.

Infact the way it's set up you can get a shed load of controllers configured, how many for bomberman?

superb...

They do dual PS1 controllers for about 8 quid, I've already got 6 lying around.

Must sort that out for my next BBQ.

/as in two PS1 controllers on one USB port.

It's been improved... I know this because it now boots burning rangers which it didn't before.

crashes at the memory card though.

Will be able to do some more testing pretty soon according to utorrent :p

Edit:
I'm an idiot... I booted Black fire, it still doesn't like my burning rangers image.

There's something deeply perverse to me about playing older consoles & computers using my wired 360 pad :)

I get that as well, a lot more than with an old MS sidewinder.... still it's pretty decent for most stuff.

I tend to use a PS1 pad (pre dual analogue at that).

Decent D-Pad FTW!

Nah, the only thing wrong with the old PSP pad is that it doesn't like diagonals. The 360 pad barely manages to even get a single direction correct.

Navigating the dash is a pain with the d-pad. Plugging in a keyboard is much better.

You won't find me defending the Dpad on the 360. But I hated the original PS1 controllers almost more than the 5200 controllers.

GamingDave does this with an actual Saturn at parties. Sounds an absolute hoot. I have a copy of bomberman but no multitaps :(

Couldn't get the emulator from the link you provided Dunc, but I am still on the lookout for something that'll emulate and allow you to use the original disks. I still have my Saturn rigged up to the telly for some stuff but it would be very nice to be able to free up that scart slot :)
