WTF?!

How do you spend that much in 12 days? That's 291 a day FFS! Even if the average meal was a whooping ten quid that's 29 meals?!

Wiggins, eh?

His first name should've been Ralf.

Wow, nearly £400 per order? What kind of dumb-ass takeaway accepts a cheque for that much? They should be fined for stupidity, encouraging the kid to build up the debt and then deported.

But yeah, that's some kind of food intake. And lol @ Retroid.

Clues are in the article:

Shane Wiggins, 19, from Canterbury, ordered the food for himself and friends over 12 days this year.

He said it was because he had no money while his mother was in hospital.

The takeway said Wiggins' nine orders always included large amounts of crispy duck dishes and canned drinks.

So he's home alone, he has his mates practically living at his place and they order chinese for the bunch of them + lots of beers each day.

£3500 sounds doable when you're too lazy to go to the supermarket for your beer.

My mother is going into hospital for a few days soon, I might have to borrow her chequebook and order takeout from one of Gordon Ramsey's restaurants or something. I reckon I could beat that £3,500 bill in 4 days going by that method.

On a serious note, what a little twat that kid is.

Heh, succinct, but sums it up pretty nicely.

The little blighter said:"It was for a good reason. I didn't have any money to buy food."

So you stole thousands from a family business.

If he was just nicking stuff to feed himself it would at least be slightly understandable (although at 19 it's not like he was a little kid), if still terrible behaviour, feeding the an army of mates probably pushes it into the "completely fucking unreasonable" territory.
