I think I've watched the Valkyrie of the Battlefield (officially the best looking game ever, for the moment) and the Yakuza 3 trailers about 25 times each. As good as the end of this year looks, I can't wait for next spring.

Yep, it's really nice. Calling it an interactive screensaver is doing it a massive disservice. It's a great little puzzler and really shows off the Sixaxis well

Oh aye, they're going early because of Thanksgiving, I assume EU and Asia will update on the usual days.

Not a great selection, although the Fl0w update might be interesting if it's cheap enough.

I'm hoping the EU will get Everyday Shooter this week.

Nice you can check the store on a PC now.

Might end up buying another version of Metal Slug to go on my PSP after the PSP compilation was such a botch job.

Hopefully Vib Ribbon will be done properly - allowing for music from the hard drive to be used.

What are the best PSN games (the cheap ones)? It's a shame more of them don't have demos because Super Stardust looks tempting after trying it.

I actually quite like Blast Factor, although I was playing it in the week of launch mainly so I was possibly affected by the fact that I only had one 'proper' game to be getting on with. I do go back to it from time to time, though.

I tried flOw and I'm finding it strangely addictive.

Blast factor looks pretty good too, I'll have a closer look - there's more 'interesting' stuff on here than on XBLA and I'm really glad they use real money.

Stupid points systems on others...

Edit: Super Rub a Dub is a big old pile o' shite too :)

I liked the demo, bought the game and only played it the a few times. I think I expected a bit more variety in the content after the demo levels.

I'd agree there's more 'interesting' things on the PSN. The little eye toy editing thing for example is a nice for free, with the Eye of Judgement stand it'd be quite good for making PSP vids if the camera had more than two focus options. Though I reckon you could bodge an in between focus with some tape.

I have a new love, and her name is Pixel Junk Monsters. Awesome, awesome game, and shockingly it's even out already on the UK store :-)

And after a couple more hours with it, I still think it's f'in brilliant. Yes, it may only be a tower defence game (*), but it's brilliantly done, superb art style and music, and so very, very addictive. And what's more, it's oly £3.50 on the UK store, $7 on the US store, and if you're still not sure there's a demo IN ENGLISH on the Japanese Store.

* - The idea of the game is to protect your village from a constant onslaught of monsters by buying and building towers. Each tower fires different types of weapons, and predictably, each weapon has different strengths and weaknesses against different monsters. For example, the canons are good against the big grey yetis because they do vast amounts of damage, but suck against the quick moving spiders. Each tower can also be upgraded, making it more effective, by either spending jewels (that get dropped by killing monsters), or by dancing in front of them. So you end up constantly juggling building new towers, collecting money and jewels, upgrading the towers so you can survive the next wave, all while trying to stop your family from getting eaten. Simple. :-)

Liked the Pixel Junk Monsters demo, pretty tempted to buy.

My wife liked it in co-op so downloading now, wonder how long her interest will last.

Yeah, I nabbed PJM last night (without trying the demo). It's pretty good, actually.

Why the hell aren't the demos out for all regions? I'm sure these games would sell more if folk weren't having to take a chance.

I will say MS could learn something about pricing from Sony too...

I'll have to try PJM then. I wish I knew when Wipeout HD was on its way because I'm very close to getting the PS1 version instead.

The rare words "Let's play one more level" and "Let's play again soon" have been uttered so looks like it's a hit with my wife. I'm enjoying it too, think I might just play it in co-op game to keep it fresh.
