Can anyone help me on this?
I have a US PSP and I used to have a US copy of Wipeout Pure.

I downloaded a pack or two and thoroughly enjoyed it but I ended up losing the game.

I have since gotten hold of a new copy but this one is a European copy. I only realised it matters when I found that my savegames weren't there.

I'd like to get hold of the free extension packs again. Is there any way to get them?
I'm starting to suspect I'm gonna be fucked the wipeout site won't let me in. It doesn't recognise my email address but when I create a new user account it say the email address is already in use.
I suspect that it wont matter as I probably wont be able to put play my US packs on the Euro game and I wont be able to download Euro packs with a US PSP.

/pulls out hair.

I've found them on a torrent. Do you want the link or the files? I can try and find somewhere to upload them if you want.

Edit: Actually, have the link now - it's a bit slow but not too bad. If you still want them from the official source then I'll sort it tomorrow when I've found my PSP.

That'd be cool. Wouldn't I still be screwed to get it to work with a Euro version though?

You should be alright. I know someone with a Japanese PSP that could use the Euro downloads for wipeout so a US PSP is probably the same.

It's only the game that looks for the region, the PSP is irrelevant. My JPN PSP updated from the Euro Wipeout site no problem.

The country model of the PSP doesn't make a difference, it's the version of the game that matters. So the European version of WP will only be able to download and play the Euro-specific tracks. Including the exclusive Omega pack, which is excellent.

I've also got all the European packs if you're interested, but they're quite big (about 100MB with all the music tracks, I think).

Yeah I'd be very keen to get hold of them.
:-)
I'd grab them off the site but it's being silly.

I asked for a password reminder at the login page and I received an email with a password.
Using the email/password tells me it's incorrect even though they just mailed it to me.
If I click "proceed" on the login page it takes me to a "make a new password page" where I put in the current and new x2 but there the email isn't known.
When I give up and decide to create a new account my email is known again because an account is already associated with this email address.

/punches screen

Not sure what would be a feasible way to get hold of the files though.

At least you now get to have the Omega pack.

I was a little pissed off that one of the very few times I don't buy the European copy of a game (because it didn't exist yet) and we get exclusive bonus features that I wan't and can't have.

I suppose I could always pirate myself an EU copy of the game just so I can see what the Omega tracks are like.

All Wipeout Pure Downloads.

US Versions - they might work. My internet's dodgy right now or I would get the EU versions uploaded now.

Still no wipeout joy for me. I've sort of reached my limit I think. I have over 70 medals again (started from scratch on the EU version after I had about that much on the US version before I lost the UMD) but this is all on the default tracks. The uber league is too uber for me and in the time trials I just have a few golds missing which I'm sick of trying as well.

Really could do with some mew tracks to play through. Any links to the packs away from the actual wipeout site?

Tell you what Sal, if you're just having trouble logging onto the WP site then you can temporarily use my ID and password. Let me know and I'll send it to you.
