Never seen a triple kill sniper shot before.

I wish pc demos were as easy to publish.

That confused me a second as well.
Looks like they are all lined up for a fraction of a second, get hit that fraction and a few fractions later, as they've all walked on in different directions they sort of dissolve".

Not played the game though so I don't know if that's how the weapon works.

I think (Halo fans might shoot me down here) they just have big hit boxes, which I guess for a console run and gun game you need to make it possible to kill people at Halo type speeds.

Hit boxes plus latency issues inherent in a Live MP game and the fact that map has extremely long viewing distance all probably contributed to that triple kill.

Thing is the sniper did achieve one perfectly legit head shot, the one guy that didn't assplode, the other three who were no where near are the one that cop it.

I think the only problem there is that he didn't pause it at exactly the right moment. Halo is very acurate in this regard, you have to be pretty much spot on with a headshot in my experience. I think what happened was that your momentum is preserved as you die, and I think he just paused it a little late. I'll have to try and track it down to download it to Halo 3 so I can examine it close up.

Yeah, almost certainly a small lag issue. Like Chimp says, they've made headshots with the sniper very precise and basically done away with the autoaim that it used to have, so any lag at all is going to make it look like he didn't hit anything.
