~50 with 20 built-in games, TV-out and runs on 3 AAA batteries.

Sadly it doesn't seem to have any expansion possibilities at all which seems to be a silly mistake, I'm sure they could flog 'game packs' for a few Pesos*.

/Waits for some geek to work out how to wire a proper MD cart slot onto it

* No, I can't be arsed to look up what the Brazilian currency is

That does look pretty awesome, but as with Retroid I'm not sure if I'd buy it for just those games.

Once someone figures out how to make this work 'properly' I'd be all over it.

I still want a Nomad. Pointless, but cool.

It's not much better than the PSP's Sega Mega Drive Collection, really.

I do like the style of the handheld though. With a few more proper classics it would easily be worth 50.

Odd, that link did work for me, but doesn't now. Cheers for refinding it :)

I can't help liking tech like this even though it's mostly useless to me, same dealy with the Master System portable they did. I just like the fact that it's genuine hardware in a handheld with a colour screen!

Anyway, my GP2X does a fecking good job of Megadrive emulation so I'm very happy with that.

But real hardware is always nicer...

I actually saw a kid playing with a SEGA Nomad in some shit film this afternoon. It wasn't plugged in, so they must have done the scene in one take, as the batteries would only have lasted 20 minutes, tops.

Now the Game Gear, that had good battery life, I got 2 hours out of mine once. Not all at once, you understand.

You're like that guy who let the woman who won 80million-odd on the lottery step in front of him in the queue.

Except, er, not quite as unlucky.
