Hang on, why didn't anyone tell me Nintendo were out of DS's?!

I've got 2 sitting at home I could be making money on ffs...

Anyone get the feeling that Nintendo are holding back on the DS stock after seeing the press they got with the Wii shortages last xmas?

What, Nintendo are the greedy chav's eBay friend now? ;)

I'd love to know if there's anywhere their machines are in ready supply.

Germany, apparently.

And it'd actually be cheaper to pop across on EasyChavJet, buy one in Euros, then fly home than it would to pay ebay scalper prices.

There's a limitation of one per person here in Belgium, but the last time I was in a big retailer there were several palettes filled with Wii. I didn't notice a DS shortage either, though not as many units available as Wii's.

Over a year on, and this still makes me giggle.

According to some forums Britain and France have virtually no stock but the rest of EuroWorld are doing ok.

So if I were to be in Germany right now and there's stock here. Would it be worth picking one up, taking it to the UK and putting it on Ebay?

I mean I'd love to go on about "fucking ebay scalpers" as much as the next man but if there's easy money to be made right before Xmas.

To be fair they could have probably tripled their production for the past year and still be sold out.

Doesn't matter about how many they produce if they ship them to markets where there's no demand.

I think I'm going to make every effort to replace "coals to Newcastle" or "fridges to Eskimos" with "Furs to Lave" from now on.
