According to GameInformer (direct link to mag scan here) I think I need a new room just to store all these peripherals. |
|||
| |||
Haha, SHOCKER!! |
|||
| |||
/wants But then I am unabashedly a whore for this sort of thing. I'm gonna need a bigger garage! |
|||
| |||
....meh |
|||
| |||
...and of course the fucking thing's not compatible with the Rock Band peripherals. Because that'd mean you only having to buy one pile of crappy plastic instruments wouldn't it. And that won't do. |
|||
| |||
I bet the Euro price is a lot more reasonable than Rock Band though. |
|||
| |||
I bet it won't be! |

I guess it all depends on whether they're being a bit fairer with the pricing. I'd pay the money I paid for GH3 with drums included instead of guitar, since I already have one. If you have to buy the drums for £60 on top of the game for £40, or the game with guitar for £60, I may not be so tempted. |

Didn't they announce Rock Band compatibility last week? Plus you can use the drum kit as a "real" electric set, as it has a midi line to hook up to your PC. If true then I'm definitely picking this up at Chrimbo as I'm looking for a drum set for Rheya to learn on. In related news, Satch and Vai tracks have just been confirmed as DLC - "Surfing with the Alien" and "For the Love of God". o/ And again related - if Rock Band 2 is system-exclusive and GHWT isn't, wouldn't that actually hurt Rock Band? |

Oh yeah, The drums fold up well small |

Still not convinced I'll buy it (certainly not without seeing the price), as once I'd tired of Guitar Hero after a few weeks I never went back to it. |

Yeah, I was the same, primarily because playing the "guitar" really gave the feeling of messing with a toy. If the rumours about the drumkit are true and that it's durable, folds small and can be used for other duties then that gives it a *lot* more life, especially with a (then) 2 year old in the house |

Hope that's a genuine track listing - looks bloody fantastic ! |

Rammstein and REO Speedwagon on the same track list...? Heh, I approve. Hopefully we can buy the game solo. I'm fucked if I'm shelling out for any more plastic toys... |

Very happy with that, BTW, so much so that I've listed a load of stuff on Playtrade with the hope that I can raise enough funds to buy it whilst still has the wireless bass offer |
|||
| |||
No Rammstein or REO Speedwagon? Or is that on Rock Band 2? Fuck, am I turning "casual"? I can't tell any of this shit apart any more... |
|||
| |||
Don't get Rammstein. I DL'ed them for someone else who's learning German, expecting something that'll make me want to shoot my school up, but it just sounded like gay dance music. /shrug |

There's a few excellent tracks... spread over about six albums. Try youtube for Sonne, Amerika, Mutter, Reise Reise. The album, Mutter, is the best thing they've done. Not that I'm a huge fan. |
