Mine was all right. Did some useful things about the house.

Got past the point I was stuck at in both GTA IV (Snow storm, finally managed after about 10-15 tries) and Lost Odyssey (second boss fight).

Had a guitar lesson.

Early dinner with friends last night, so we were out but still home in time to have an hour or two to chill before going to bed.

Pity they're always so short. :-(

Spent around 15 hours playing Spore and that's not played it enough to review it fairly as I need to try the other interaction paths to see how they work.

Ah right. Spore's out.
I'm tempted to rush out and get it but I know I'll not get around to play it.
I think I'll wait a bit, with some luck it's dropped in price by then.

I'll come posting all excited around christmas time about how cool spore is.

Crappy weather...

Chucked another two boxes of US comics in the recycling and sorted the rest out (ordering, bagging, etc.) *cough*geek*cough*

Started Metroid Prime 2 which I picked up cheap for the GameCube (the Deadbox360 has gone back for repair); I'd forgotten what a bitch having so few savepoints was...

Watched Sin City; didn't mow the lawn.

Re-installed our electric cooker on Saturday (nipper could reach the knobs on the gas one, so despite gas cooking costing half the price of electric cooking, we had to swap back).

Sunday, had a bizarre hissy fit coupled with a lot of sobbing (think I'm overtired), then took the nipper to a softplay place and finally wired in a 2ndary sky box for multiroom fun. Screwfix do sat coax for 16 for a 100m. Bargain!

Wow. Don't suppose they do Cat5e at that price as well.

Mowed the garden, went for a nice meal with the in-laws, tidied the office, throwing out a 15m length of satellite co-ax in the process :-/

None of my activities last weekend involved any sort of cables.

Shame. I fitted the new LNB I bought to the dish, which being an ebay purchase had no instructions. Got there in the end though.

Went to Loch Fyne for mother-in-law's birthday. Spashed out on the Fruits De Mer platter thingy. For myself, of course !
