Wow... just wow. How did they manage to end up naming it that. Surely when naming a product you do a search on urban dictionary first. That site also has a write a review section. Must. Resist. Creating. Account. I wonder if Amazon are selling it. |

I think they missed a trick though, iWank would've truly been priceless. |

peej said:The MCP from Tron without any clothes on I love seeing old hardware specs. Those stats were probably mind-boggling at the time - a supercomputer with a processor speed of 80Mhz, and capable of 250 MFLOPS a second. By contrast the PS3 and Xbox360 are whacking out well over 100 GFLOPS these days. |

Why doesn't iTunes have Tron to buy? It's only there to rent. If you ever have a chain of email discussion, the phrase 'mass debate' seems to go down well (say it fast). Why do Orange seem to want to make it so difficult for me to upgrade my phone before I get so close to the end of my contract? Why not let me do that, at an increased cost obviously, but then include a contract extension to the 18/24 months? That way they encourage me to upgrade lots (profit for them) and tie me into another contract (more profit for them). |

These premakes are bloody brilliant. Imagine if your favourite 80s flicks were made in the 1950s as B Movies! Ghostbusters The Empire Strikes Back Raiders of the Lost Ark |

Rich, I wouldn't worry about trying to get AATG affiliated with Metacritic any more. I've just paid it a visit and it looks like they've utterly ruined it. What a mess! |

You've seen the alt-universe B Movie clips - here are the posters to go with 'em The Ghostbusters one is, once again, made of win. |

So... what's the opposite of a fanboy? I only ask because I'm sick of going into threads on EG and being told: "It's shit, it's fucking shit, read the review! Ha, I told you it would be shit. No, I haven't played it, what's that matter?" "Retard" just doesn't seem to cover it. |

Sounds like "average internet commentator" to me, across any and all sort of forums I read. And yeah, way more annoying and retarded than simple "fanboys", imo. |

I HAVE 4 DAYS LEFT WORKING HERE \o/ I shall miss a few of the people (a couple a lot) but not many. I won't miss anything else about the place at all. Now I'm trying to remember how to drive after 5 years of not driving and never having driven for anything other than lessons/test. It was genuinely terrifying the first couple of times but I'm almost comfortable with it now - just need a bit more on roundabouts, motorways and bay parking. |

I realise that may seem like I currently work at AATG. I do not. |

It was genuinely terrifying the first couple of times but I'm almost comfortable with it now - just need a bit more on roundabouts, motorways and bay parking. That's good to know, as I'm sort of in a slightly worse situation - got my licence in 2003, haven't driven at all since, and now I'm putting off getting a car because I'm worried about going on the road again. I know I should just buy one and get started, but it's those pesky roundabouts that bother me the most... Congratulations on the, erm, leaving your job thing btw. I take it you've got something better lined up for the future? |
|||
| |||
I have, it was me that chose to move on :) Roundabouts were definitely my biggest concern so I've just been going out in the early evening when the roads are fairly quiet. There are a couple of big roundabouts nearby that are about as complex as I'm likely to see so I've just gone on them a couple of times. I was surprised how quickly I remembered the basics and I'm probably better at gears after a hour of driving than I was at any point when learning. |

In case you haven't seen this impressive interactive Arcade Fire video. Type in the address where you grew up (or any address) and watch cool stuff happen. |

Yeah, had seen it before, but worth linking as it's a nice little effort. Also, lol @ Whizzo's thing. |
