Oh wow, new trailer looks incredible! (click on the "new" promotion video link). Hammerhead sharks, giant squids, whale of many varieties, shipwrecks, undersea cities and even stone circles and dinosaur fossils! I really hope this gets a Euro release, or if not, that it's easy to understand

Looks cool, according to amazon.jp it's out on the 25th.

One of the shots in the Outline page had some heavy duty HUD on, hope that's for in the subs rather than all the time.

At that price, it's got to be a PSN title, surely? Can you download japanese PSN games on a UK PS3?

Personally I think that trailer looks too shiny. I've nothing against crystal clear blue waters, but for example that ship just looks like an old ship above water would (except tinted blue). It doesn't have that weathered look that being underwater for hundreds of years should have.

Have Sony decided to focus on interactive guided tours like this and Afrika because of the dodgy framerates on the PS3's normal paced games ?

Next up, London Open Top Bus Simulator ?

Has anyone played this? There's a Chinese / English and a Korean / English ("Asian") version floating around so at the moment I'm stuck between this and Afrika (Hakuna Matata) for PS3-based mooching about, Endless Ocean style.

The Wikipedia entry says
young children may be confused by the significant Engrish evident in the translation
which is already swinging things in AH's favour :D
