I stand by mine too with the caveat that it will probably signal the day I give up gaming entirely when the whole thing relies on digital downloads or cloud gaming.

you wont give up gaming, there are thousands of what will then be retro games out there for you to snaffle up :)

Hmmmm not for me. Retro gaming and the whole nostalgia thing is getting as expensive as normal gaming is. In fact, christ, when you see what Elite are charging for speccy stuff on the iPhone, I think I'll pass.

It doesn't sound like a going concern to me.

Cloud gaming is a fucking stupid idea given the state of the Internet infrastructure.
