Well this is different, I'm absolutely convinced I know how it's going to end. I'm mid-way through season 3, although I've been certain since the middle of the first season.

Should I just see if I'm right and read the last episode (or so) spoilers for season 4, or enjoy the journey, not the end?

I think the programme's good, not *wonderful*... What do you think?

(PS: Post no spoilers please, not decided if I want to know. That means YOU TOO NEWYORK!)

Season 1 and parts of various other seasons come close to some of the best things on TV in recent years. Season 3/4 don't quite match it with a bit too much meandering and typical sci-fi preachyness when they try to get pseudo-intellectual instead of concentrating on war.

The journey is worth watching and it probably isn't going where you think it is. Even I thought it was worth watching and I barely watch any TV these days.

"They have a plan":

They want acceptance and equal rights like Humans.

They want to be regarded as having souls, and conscience, just like their creators.

Oh and basically, they *don't* want to destroy the human race, they consider themselves to be part of the human race.

I don't know how to respond without giving anything away, one way or another.

I finished watching the last series over the weekend.

Have to admit, although as a whole I've thoroughly enjoyed this reimagining of BSG, the final half of series four feels like a real rush job; it's like they came back after the writers' strike and realised they only had 11 episodes in which to wrap up a four year storyline... :(
