Wotcha knowledgable AATGers.

Does anyone know any free (or cheap) way to digitally watermark stuff in Photoshop? I'm in the unusual position of having a couple of items I designed stolen from one site for use on another - it's half flattering that anyone would think they were worth nicking, but annoying because I won't get the credit for those icons being used on this particular site.

Is there a way of encrypting copyright or watermark information into images without paying for something like Digimarc?

Can't you just setup an action in PS to over lay a PNG watermark on your images? Then use Batch Processing to apply this action to a folder.

I need 'em to be invisible, so I'm thinking more something that preserves a digital watermark than an actual visible one (basically these are tiddly little icons used for navigation on a set of pages - so it would be impractical to slap a layer over the top...)

Digimarc apparently does - and I spose really it wouldn't stop someone just image-capturing a bunch of stuff off a page, but it's extremely frustrating - particularly when someone passes that work off as their own (as is the case in this instance)

Can you not disable right clicking? 9 times out of ten that stops the casual theft of images. If I were you, I'd get one of those packages that allows you to make the thumbnail different to the actual picture and turn all the thumbs to gay porn. Should dissuade any image thieves*.

*this will only work if the images weren't gay porn to start with of course.

I hate with a blind passion right clicks being disabled, and then always make a point of printing screen and saving, just to be a shit.

I'm no fan of it but sometimes use it on hosting packages where the bandwidth is limited.
