Yeah, it can be a bit fiddly. Wasn't much less fiddly with the normal controller though. Had a few problems reaching all those buttons on my first playthrough.

The plot's terrible, there are so many holes and odd disjointed bits in it that once you've finished the game, going back to it reveals just how screwed up the storyline is and how certain character actions just don't "fit" into the big reveal.

Completely agree. This game is sold on the power of its plot and its plot is terrible.

One thing that's really annoying the hell out of me with Move-compatible games is the fact that no thought's gone into how developers use the controller when an existing control scheme's in place.

For move games that are built purely for Move from the ground up, it's not such a problem (stuff like Sports Champions and Tumble etc).

For games like No More Heroes it's a complete ballache that the developers still insist on you using the Circle, Square, X and Triangle buttons - which on a Move controller are absolutely hateful.

It's a pity - for most of the controls in games like NMH or Killzone 3, the standard Move button and trigger underneath are fine. But far too many games need the other face buttons or even more shockingly, the select button and start button (which are so badly placed on the Move controller, and comletely fucking flat too so you struggle to press them)

Absolutely crazy!

I've tried so hard to get on with Move but apart from Tumble there has been nothing that I have enjoyed. I am hoping Sourcery will change that but apart from that there isn't even anything I have seen coming out that is interesting me

Tumble and Sports Champions are pretty much the only Move games worth bothering with at the mo. Killzone 3's move support would've been ace if it hadn't been for those face buttons though.

Still, it works better than Kinect.

Which of the face buttons would you say can be reached the easiest? Probably the X button (lower left), right?
Just asking in preparation for the eventual LBP2 move update. :)

I think they're all fiddly but yeah the lower ones are slightly more easy to access than the higher ones.

Though if I was building something that purely used the controller (and not the nunchuck) I'd concentrate on the move button and Z trigger and that's it. Use the Nunchuck for everything else (I'm assuming that they're factoring in both and not just the move wand)

I thought about using the X button as usual to jump and then use the trigger to point at something specific or shoot at something. Though if the Move button is available I'll probably use that to jump.
The grab function I would probably map to L1, though I'm not sure how comfortable that is.

Just warming up the Move gubbins... Socom and No More Heroes have arrived.

Sil, if you're up for some co-op on Socom, let me know.

It does have co-op, right? Maybe this policy of a total media blackout isn't my smartest move after all...

Sounds like a plan. I'll give you a shout next time I'm online. Hopefully I'll get some time tomorrow evening.

Was going to pick up a Nunchuck for a bit of proper control on Killzone 3. Fuck me they're expensive! 17 quid still! For half a sixaxis!

Both bits are way too expensive in my opinion.

Haven't really used this much since I tried Heavy Rain. Setting up the camera every time is just too much hassle. Not having a full game yet doesn't help either, but I think I might pick up the latest Tiger Woods next week.

For a bit of a hoot and a look at how move should be used more, download the 'Start the party' demo.

Now THAT is what Move enabled games should do - more AR style stuff.

I have downloaded it, but it doesn't work. The demo just won't start.

Damn, that's a shame.

Wonder how much copies are going for? It's just a bunch of simple party games but it's the only game I've seen for Move that comes anywhere close to showing off those AR demos that they showed at E3

I think that might make sense to Sony because regular PS3 controllers are still 40 RRP. ^^;

This site is fantastic for detailed info on how the Move is implemented in PS3 games.

Especially interesting is the Virtua Tennis vs Topspin video which shows how rubbish the motion controls are in both games!

I played some JS Joust today. It's quite possibly the best Move game! :)

Diggs Nightcrawler looks really well written in terms of dialogue and characters.

Shame it's a Wonderbook game, as I don't have much joy with my Eyetoy as it is.

Oh and that Nathan Baseley... ^____^
