The last three days has been totally dead for me. Just been trying to make myself look busy but I think even my boss realises its winding down.

Finish on Wednesday, so have three more days to put up with the mind numbing boredom, and although I've bought Quake 2 in to play on the LAN, think its a bit early to start suggesting that yet.

Nice thing about doing helpdesk...if everyone else slows down, so do we :)

Today's the last day, and then not going back until the 4th. \o/

One of the few perks of working in education.

Working till next Tuesday. This lot are being stingy this year and the majority of people are working right up till christmas eve. Tight gits. I'm taking a couple of days off though so I can hopefully enjoy the snow rather than being stuck in it.

All the way to Christmas Eve for me - this is the benefit of being your own boss, although I can *technically* take a holiday whenever I want, as a result I never feel like I can justify taking a holiday. Excellent.

I really miss not working at the college I used to for this reason, two weeks of paid leave at Chrimbo was awesome. Working in the NHS isn't quite the same, for rather obvious reasons!

I'm off the week after next but it's costing me a few days of leave, it'll probably be a bit quieter at least next week and no school traffic is always nice. :-)

Actually, I have quite a bit of writing ahead of me. 6000 words on the economic development of Dublin. Shouldn't be too hard once I got a plan of what I want to write about.

Finished my first full term as a newly qualified teacher today, now off til 4th Jan. Survived all sorts of horrible lurgies at the school... and managed to get a dose of man flu today. Bloody kids.

Still, time for some gaming. \o/

I still have Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to go, but I've taken annual leave all over Christmas. Hells yeah.

I'm working till xmas eve but have taken the week off so I'll not go back till the new year. My holiday allowance increases to 6 weeks next year though so I might try and get a longer break for xmas 2011
