I know a lot of people on here are Lego fans so I thought this might be of interest. It's called Lego Digital Designer and basically it's a complete Lego set for your PC/Mac. You can build stuff and then see how many bricks you need plus roughly how much it might cost to build for real.

I've only had a very brief play with it so far but it looks pretty good and easy enough to use.

I have had a look at that. Basically to build my full size lego replica of Monica Belluci costs a bit too much money. The arse alone could cost me ten grand.

Lol, in that case I'd better cancel my Pamela Anderson's boobs project :-P

I do actually know someone who bought enough lego to make a model of their wife's arse and painstakingly constructed it for display in their lounge.

Last time I went round though it wasn't on show... :(

Surprised that this actually works on my Mac despite not meeting the graphic card requirements.

It's not as good as having really Lego at hand though. :)

They obviously know you too well and hid it from view before you went round, Peej! ;)

Yeah, it's no substitute for the real thing, but still pretty decent fun. It's a bit like the vehicle designer in Banjo-Kazooie.

That prize calculator can't be right. I've built a simple house out of very basic blocks (Bit over 100 blocks) and it told me that would cost 114. O.o

Haven't tried it recently, but last time I had a go with the Lego Digital Designer, it wouldn't let me attach bricks together in non-standard configurations.

I'd thought I might create kits of my 'DNA' model as presents but the construction involves sticking the stud on a round '1' brick into the hole in the side of a '2x1' technical brick and the LDD just wasn't having it. I also join two round '1' bricks back-to-back using a technical pin thing. No chance. Didn't even get close to building the helix... :(
