Wowzers. It's gorgeous. |

Edge has always been a good looking coffee table magazine, my only problem with it is the content being old before the ink is dry. I'd love if they put the reviews on the website and used that space for more features in the print addition. |

Ooh! I'll get Sharon to pick it up for me when she's shopping tomorrow, I hope they haven't changed it's shape mind! |

Mmmm, pretty |

Looking forward to getting this now, much prefer reading well written content in EDGE than rushing to see what the latest online reviews are (except for on here, obviously, ahem). |

Unlucky, chris. :( I guess I don't mind the redesign, overall. It just feels a bit less unique now that it is a "normal" shape (which I think I do prefer, even if only from a usability standpoint) and the overall design feel is a bit "generic lads mag" (or, at least, more so than it used to be). It does look pretty smart, though, with the more minimalist design to the review layout etc. I feel like this has all contributed to fewer words per page, though, and thus more pages, which has surely had a knock-on effect on the biggest part of the cover redesign: It now says "£FIVE" instead of "£4.50". :-/ Massive positive: I don't see any articles with the words written at funny angles. Small negative: They could have found something a bit more thrilling than Hitman for the first cover of the new design. |

I like it overall, though a lot of what ilmaestro says fits with what I'm thinking. I think it looks nice, but it must be hard to make it look really classy with some of the screenshots they have to use. That £five is pretty gross. Was scared Randy Smith had been cut, but chuffed they seem to have added more columns rather than cutting any. |

I didn't think Edge could get even more up its own arse but using "£FIVE" is such "aren't we just sooo clever" bullshit that I'm astounded. |

I just had a leaf through it at the train station and yeah, the layout looks very classy (particularly the latter half of the magazine). Also, the feature articles are very unique, justifying Edge's existence as a magazine. There's interesting stuff in there that you won't find on your average gaming site. |

I gave up (attempting) to read it after an interesting article was ruined a few years back by silver text on a white/light blue back ground. It was like some advert ingame from Wipeout 2097 FFS. |
