I'd definitely advise giving the game a go for free before dropping £2.99 on this. peej about Painkiller: Purgatory |

Today's the day for Fruit Ninja Kinect, Giant Bomb said it's good and it looked solid in their videos. Still play the iPad one from time to time so will give this a go. Looks like there's some multiplayer in there too so one for the family. 34 outside here today so not sure if I'll survive playing it. |

I played the iPhone demo for about 2 minutes the other day and thought "Is this it?". That would be my concern over a Kinect version. Though having said that, there's so very little else to play on Kinect that I guess you take whatever you can get. |

It's rather good and having the online leaderboards and challenges gives you a kick to try and do better. Thumbs up from me or rather both my hands slicing through fruit because I am a Fruit Ninja! |

Am I dreaming? What kind of world is this I'm living in where Whizzo likes Fruit Ninja? |

He's still sticking to that rubbish old story he was trotting out about how much of an innovation Kinect was :) (it's not that bad, but sheesh, if this had appeared on the Wii or on Move, people would be slating it left right and centre) |

And you're stilling being a grumpy bastard when anything Kinect is mentioned! It's a fun game and not a bad workout for the arms, I've still not gone more than 50 on that bloody pomegranate. |

I really like it too! The shadow works wonders I think, it really helps to ground you. I'll poop a review out by the weekend :D |

Isn't this free with that Gunstringer game that is coming out? If so, I'll wait till then. |

Did you get my review chaps? |
|||

Did indeed, was thinking Rich was going to publish it as I'm strapped for time today (which is why I farted out as much news before the working day began) |

Shit, I knew I forgot to do something last night. Sorry mate. Will edit it into shape tonight. |

Thanks sexies x |

Waste of a SoA slot, really. I've nothing against the title, bar a lack of hardware to play on it. I think if you've got a Kinetic you'd gravitate towards this anyway, wouldn't you? The same way you hoover up all this shovelware pish on the Wii... |

I still find it moderately funny that you've just summarised what Kinect has been about in its first year. Even despite Steel Battalion I don't see that changing in a hurry either. It'll be good for Forza 4 I guess. |

This is great fun in the same way as my other 2 kinect games, short bursts of something different. Impressed by the tracking, and how it makes you think about the angles you slice. I really hope there's more fun games like this at this price. |

Hey Hairy, do your stuff! :D |

Judging by how shitty the weather is, I won't be going out at lunch so if it's not done by lunchtime I'll give it a go, Chris :) |

Fired it up last night and I was surprised my 600 in arcade is still topping my friends leaderboard. I'm obviously super awesome or something. |

Et la, done! |
