Have any other iPhone owners upgraded their firmware to iOS5? How's it working out for you?

My iPhone 4 seems to now run like shit. :(

Upgraded Saturday morning; totally underwhelmed. And yes, my iPhone 4 does now seem less responsive... :(

I quite like iMessage but other than that...

I've not actually upgraded to iOS5 yet, mainly because of a concern that my 4 would slow down alot.

While my colleague has upgraded and says that his 4's fine, none of the new features really appeal and it'll make the 4S seem better when I inevitably get it.

I don't understand why the 4 would have problems, I installed it on my 3GS and it's running fine.

I like it - plenty of nice little improvements, and the notification bar is a useful addition. Battery life doesn't seem to have taken a hit either.

Anyone getting a 4S? Very tempted by the 64GB version, even with its ludicrous price.

running fine on my 3GS, even though it failed to restore the back up after upgrade and then spent another hour or so doing a full restore. Lost VLC during the upgrade too- I'd nabbed that prior to it getting pulled :(

Got it on my 4, seems good. Like the new Notifications and iMessage stuff. Haven't noticed any speed decrease what so ever.

LOL, that is too awesome/nuts for words.

Yeah, definitely going to upgrade my 3s to a 4s, just need to remember to actually get around to it. 64GB seems like a bit of overkill for me though, not sure what I would all that space for.

I recently got a 4 to replace my stolen 3GS, purely in anticipation of resale value when my contract expires in Feb next year. Not sure I want to jump in on the 4S or wait for the 5 next year, assuming that it's actually coming next year...
Not upgraded to ios5 yet. A friend of mine who has the 4S is disappointed with battery life too - I thought they'd fixed that.

Working fine on my 3GS too.

I really like the notifications, such an improvment over the blue boxes.

The volume button as camera shutter button is a nice too.

Wi-Fi syncing is a bit slow but might come in handy.

Not noticed any performance issues on my iPhone 4 - although as it's my work phone I confess I don't use it all that much.

The new notifications seem better but they're still nowhere near as good as those on Android. Anyone tried using iCloud yet?

Depends what you fill it with - if, like me, you want most of your music collection on there, as well as a bunch of hefty apps, you can easily fill up the space. I've got a 32GB now and have been waiting for the 64GB iPhone for ages - it's the ideal size for me. Remember that the 4S does 1080p video now too, not to mention the 8MP camera, so that space would definitely come in handy.

At the moment I'm sort of on the lookout for the cheapest possible deal. Tesco seem to have the best contract option, otherwise I'd rather go SIM-free.

I also have most of my music collection on there - my music collection is just tiny. ^^;

I tend to move photos and such off the phone and onto my PC, too, so I don't even nearly use all the space on my 16GB atm. I "might as well" get a 32GB one, though, I suppose, presuming apps and games are only going to keep on getting bigger.
