Is it just me, or is anyone else a bit confused and/or torn when it comes to posting here and EG?

I find it a tough call which photography thread to post shots in, and feel dumb posting the same thing in both. Same thing with starting threads.

I forget which ones I've replied to and I feel like a bit of a tit replying to both.

I still post occasionally in the EG photo thread, but otherwise I'm here now.

I think we just find it flattering that people post here and at EG.

Means at least you feel you're getting a good airing in both places. The photo thread though, I still regularly look at both to keep all bases covered.

I just post here, I've had a look at the EG forums a couple of times over the last week. But not even logged in, let alone posted.

We should create a new rule - if anyone spots any repetition, just let it go.

It's even worse for me as a MOD 'cos sometimes I feel obliged to check in at EG just to make my presence known.

Does it even need a rule?
People wouldn't have a problem with repeating a thread between here and somewhere like NeoGAF, so why should here and EG be special?

They're different forums with an overlapping userbase. I'd welcome any repetition, particularly in the photo threads.

If you make to posts identical then I guess people will know if they've already seen it and won't need to click through the images.
