Ooh, I knew Treasure were working on Live Arcade, but I expected them to be using it for cool new small stuff. I am surpsied.

And disappointed. I've already got Ikaruga. Why couldn't it have been Radiant Silvergun, eh?

Is Guardian Heroes available on any of the download services, by the way?

Heh... just said the same thing in the news article about Guardian Heroes.

Bloomin' superb game is Guardian Heroes. I'd say that Treasure must have one of the highest good games to bad games ratios out there. There's probably only Capcom that's a challenge to them.

That's a bit of a shame, though I've been looking to re-buy Ikaruga for my Japanese Wii, I'd hoped to get something new. Still I don't need to bother with the GC version now if there's a proper HD version coming.

Can HD tellies operate on their sides ok? I wonder if they'll include the option.

So is this gonna be a cube port, or some sort of super duper version?

Dammit, I can see me finally caving cos of this.

I hope this doesn't impinge on their new 360 game making efforts.

So whaddaya reckon price wise? Given the stupid prices for the cube or DC versh at the mo, I'd probably be OK if this was 1200 points. I'd prefer 400 or 800 natch..

Heh, like something on a Nintendo console would ever drop in price.

I don't even have Ikaruga on any system and the only time i ever played it was drunk in a pub and I loved it. So, colour me interested but I wish there was another way to get it cheaply.

I saw three copies in ASDA last week for £15. The cases were pretty bashed up though.

I bought a copy of Metroid Fusion for a fiver.

Really? Crazy! I haven't got an Asda anywhere round my way. I'll have to go on a hunting trip in the centre of town I guess.

That was in Glasgow amd I recon it was a "found down the back of an industrial freezer, lets try and punt it" sale.

They were the only copies of anything on the Cube and the only other GBA stuff was Mario Kart and Mario Tennis.

I acquired Ikaruga on the DC recently and have had a quick bash. The DC controller isn't the best for this sort of game though. Might give it a bash via chankast with a PS1 controller :)

The DC controller is horrible though, Space Channel 5 is ruined by it.

Too right - I had to get a MadCatz controller to get 100% on SC5. It was impossible with the official one.
