I have some money-off vouchers for blockbuster burning a hole in my pocket at the moment. They are due to expire in the next few weeks but I aren't sure what to buy with them.

Here's my options, please praise or slag them off to aid in my decision making process:

Tony Hawk's Project 8
Call of Duty 3
Marvel Ultimate Alliance

All other recent games with decent reviews are already in my possession. These three were potential purchases that got lost in the pre-xmas avalanche of games.

Which is the best option?

THP8 - it's bloody superb.

COD3 is OK if you like the COD games (which I don't).

No idea on MUA though. Sure you're not better off saving your vouchers for friday's release? (GRAW2) ???

I may wait for further viewpoints on GRAW2 but the advantage of the other games is they will cost almost 0 with the voucher.

I'm also suffering with a little "Tactical Shooter" indigestion at the moment. Still got nowhere with R6 Vegas (which I preferred to GRAW)

cod 3 is a good blast, enjoyed it, a crying shame no bugger played it online, as the multiplayer looked good.
i am playing mua at the moment, its good, a touch repetitive, but if you like marvel the game is good fun.
you can make you own super teams, my team consists of spidey, electra, wolverine and collusus, they are called the 'asspunchers'

CoD3 is a very nice game. It looks gorgeous. The SP game feels different enough from CoD2 (it's more scripted, for example) for me to flit between both quite happily. CoD3 online is very good. Lots of options - it actually feels a lot like BFMC in some modes, so if you like that, you'll like this.

THP8. Last skating game I played was Aggressive Inline (which I prefered to any TH game I'd seen up to that point). I usually find them too difficult, but I've been playing this one steadily since Christmas. The way your stats improve, the more you play the better you become. The game is easier now, and there's plenty of challenges and random things to do.

Both games are recommended, really. There's a help, eh?

Thanks repairmanjack, COD3's online similarity to BF2MC sounds very appealing. However...

I was also a big fan of aggressive inline and preferred it to the tony hawk's games (with the possible exception of TH2 on dreamcast). If you enjoyed THP8 in light of that then perhaps I should go for that one.

Decisions, decisions...
