There are times when only a slice of Talk Talk will do. Everyone's probably got a teenage soundtrack full of angst and stuff, anything by Talk Talk definitely made up most of mine. |

Having a listen to a bit more Sun Kil Moon after hearing the haunting music on the Gears of War 3 trailer. Plenty of good stuff on spotify but here's the trailer music: Heron Blue - Sun Kil Moon |

Hybrid - Disappear Here Enjoying it so far though it's very samey throughout and nothing is really jumping out at me. Will take some time to grow I reckon. Also, Rodgrigo y Gabriela 11:11 - Just brilliant. |

My current favorite vocaloid song Anata no Uta-hime. |

The Wallflowers. I felt like some MOR music for an evening. It is impressive how good a singer Jakob is given how bad his father (Bob Dylan) is. |

Bad Religion - They've been going 30 years this year, apparently! My Xbox Live name comes from their song 21st Century (Digital Boy). |

Listening to a bit of Caribou at the moment. Very bizarre old skool techno stuff. Can be a bit hard on the ears in places but mostly good stuff. |

I've had Rilo Kiley's 'Under The Blacklight' sitting on the iPod since I don't when, but never got round to listening to it until now. Loving it! /grooves in an indie-pop stylee |

White Lines (Don't Do It) - Grandmaster Flash & Melle Mel. I'd forgotten just how good this song is! |

Pink Floyd - The Wall. Get past all the hype and nonsense talked about this album and it's just staggeringly awesome. /replays |

Heh; I saw the Australian Pink Floyd Show at the NIA last night - fantastic stuff (although some of the computer animations were a bit naff). |

Just reacquainting myself with The The's Infected album and videos. One good thing about Jukefly is that it seems to have the entire lot of promos that went with the album. Some genuinely weird shit there. If Matt Johnson wasn't off his head on a cocktail of drugs snorted from between Neneh Cherry's huge bazongas, then he's some sort of genius. |

Holy Fuck's new album. I've not given it enough time but it's definitely good, not sure whether it's better than their first yet. |

/engage hairy old rocker mode Slash's new album, made with more members of GnR than are currently in GnR. Loving it so far m/ /disengage hairy old rocker mode |

Disposable pop it may be, but 'That's Not My Name' by The Ting Tings is the cat's pyjamas! |

Innocence and Despair - Langley Schools Music Project Please note the above is an illegal download and by clicking the link you are agreeing that you are pondscum. Anyways, beautiful and haunting album. I may be late on this, and it may be popular, but here's the lowdown and some tracks on Myspace. Particularly check out God Only Knows and Space Oddity. That it was recorded roughly 35 years ago just adds to the creepy vibe. |
